sec:faq
Goal Rally is a desktop app that lets groups of friends who stream together track shared goals in real time. Each streamer receives tips on their own platform — Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Fansly, and more — and Goal Rally aggregates that progress into a single goal bar displayed as an OBS overlay. This is sometimes called "tip pooling," but it's important to note that Goal Rally only tracks progress toward a goal. It does not hold, split, or redistribute any money between streamers. Every streamer keeps their own tips on their own platform — Goal Rally just counts them all toward one shared target.
Goal Rally works with any platform that Streamer.bot supports, including Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Fansly, Chaturbate, Streamlabs, Ko-Fi, StreamElements, and many more — over 20 platforms in total. Because Goal Rally uses Streamer.bot as a universal adapter, it automatically works with any new platform Streamer.bot adds support for without needing an update.
Goal Rally runs a local server on your computer and serves the overlay as a web page. In OBS, you add it as a Browser Source pointing to localhost:3777/overlay. The overlay updates in real time — no refreshing needed. There's also a separate Browser Source URL for the tip menu overlay. Goal Rally includes a step-by-step setup guide with copy-paste URLs built right into the app.
Yes — that's exactly what Goal Rally is built for. One streamer can be on Twitch, another on Kick, and a third on Fansly, and all of their tips count toward the same goal. Each streamer is color-coded so you can see who contributed what in the progress bar. You can also assign specific streamers to specific goals, or let all streamers contribute to every goal. All streamers need to be broadcasting from the same location with a shared production computer running Goal Rally, OBS, and Streamer.bot.
Goal Rally has a free tier that includes 2 streamers, 3 active goals, manual tip entry, and the default overlay theme. Paid Pro plans start at $39/year for 3 streamers and unlock automatic tip tracking, all 4 overlay themes, chat engagement, tip menu overlays, Lovense integration, and more. Growth ($69/year) supports 6 streamers and Studio ($99/year) supports up to 12. There are also day passes starting at $4.99 for adding guest streamers temporarily.
Streamer.bot is a free automation tool that connects to your streaming platforms and forwards events like tips, donations, bits, and super chats to other apps. Goal Rally uses Streamer.bot to receive tip data automatically — it's what makes the 20+ platform support possible. You'll need Streamer.bot installed on the same computer running Goal Rally and OBS. If you're on the free tier, you can skip Streamer.bot entirely and enter tips manually.
Goal Rally runs entirely on your local machine — there's no cloud server involved. Your data stays on your computer in a local database, and the OBS overlay is served from localhost. You only need an internet connection for the initial license activation and for Streamer.bot to receive tips from streaming platforms. If your connection drops mid-stream, Goal Rally keeps running and you can still enter tips manually.
Absolutely. Goal Rally is a natural fit for charity streams and fundraiser events where multiple streamers want to rally their communities around a shared target. Set up a goal with your fundraising target, invite your fellow streamers, and every tip across every platform counts toward the same progress bar. Tiered goals let you chain stretch goals that unlock automatically as each target is hit, and milestone announcements keep chat hyped as you approach each threshold.
No — only one person needs to run Goal Rally. It's designed so that one person (usually the stream producer or organizer) runs the app on their computer alongside OBS and Streamer.bot. That single instance tracks tips from all streamers in the group and serves the overlay. The other streamers don't need to install anything — they just stream on their platform as usual from the same location, and their tips are picked up automatically through Streamer.bot on the shared production computer.
Yes, for now Goal Rally is designed for groups streaming from the same location with a shared production computer — the one running OBS, Streamer.bot, and Goal Rally. This is the most common setup for friends who stream together in person. Support for remote groups streaming from different locations is planned for a future update.
